Write for Heather

Hello and welcome!

Health is a lifestyle. Here’s our goal: to educate people on how nutrition, exercise, supplementation and stress reduction can eliminate pain and disease. Healthcare isn’t just about curing diseases. It’s about prevention in the first place. We’re changing how America views healthcare.

Be a contributor. If you love to educate, share your experiences and would like to write for us, here’s what you need to know:

Word count

There isn’t a minimum or maximum, but we find our readers enjoy posts between 300 and 800 words.

Topic and tone

Our readers come back to us for insights into their food, health, as well as ideas for immediate steps they can take to be healthier. We find that readers respond best to posts that are instructional, warm, have some punch, and are also conversational.

Original content

If you decide to write for Dr Heather Tick, thank you! We welcome you. Please make your submission an original post for this blog.

Bio and promotion

We so appreciate your submission and want to let you know we don’t compensate for submitted blog posts. Your work improves our healthcare system for millions of Americans. We happily offer a byline and a brief bio (23 sentences) that includes links to your website and social media accounts. We’ll also actively promote your post on our social channels, happily tagging you along the way. Once it’s live, you’re welcome to do the same on your own.

Please be mindful that we may edit your submission if necessary.

Photo Guidelines

Great photography will attract attention and get your post read.

Please remember:

  • The best photo size is 700 pixels wide at 100dpi
  • Save your photos as .png files
  • Landscape photos work best
  • Photos taken in natural light with non-cluttered backgrounds stand out best
  • Photos must be your original work or licensed for commercial use

Please send your submission to and we’ll be in touch.
