Guerilla Gardening: “Growing your own food is like printing your own money.”

We, the people, need to take charge of feeding ourselves. Until 70 years ago, people, not corporations, were in charge of food supply. Food is too important to trust to the profit-driven companies that have already led us to an epidemic of chronic illness, including obesity and diabetes.
In this TED talk, Ron Finley explains how gardening can be both therapeutic and defiant. He discusses a revolution happening in south Los Angeles, and argues that kids who grow kale will eat kale.
